double-trouble

I'm new round here - Go easy on me at first please.

I've a fairly old (but good) E61 (M57D25TÜ) with the MSport vanity pack.
I've had the e61 a while - and it's quite standard - but, the day is nearing... Because,
I suffer from a serious lifelong Upgraditis condition.
I've lots of previous experience plus fair mechanical and electrical skills and tools.

I don't have much 5 series or BMW specific knowledge - or very deep pockets - and that's where the forum comes in.
I hope to get some good TECHNICAL advice from the community (and to pay back the favour, as soon as I feel I know enough to be helpful)

Love it! My advice would be to try to pick up a E60 Service Manual. You see used ones posted on the web from time to time. to the forum!
