hey my name is Antonio i'm from outside of D.C. and i have an 06' 550 i bought back in november from Fairfax BMW. I bought it CPO with 47,000 miles on it and i think i got a pretty good deal on it.
Here's a list of some of the options that came with it:
Sport's Package
Navi
Active maintaince til' 100,000 miles
Sports seats

I have a few after market mods I'm thinking about doing but nothing to over the top

Here are a few of the things have been thinking about getting and would like feed back regarding these items and where i can get quilty items that aren't super expensive:
Angel Eyes (looking to get in on the GB for the Mtechs)
Black/Silver Carbon fiber Emblems for front, rear, and all four wheels
Black grills
Wheel spacers 15mm rears/ 10mm fronts
RPI intake scoop and filter
Exhuast (nothing too loud)
Tune for performance and better gas mileage

I just got the windows tinted earlier this week don't have pics with tint yet but will try to post as i go.

my previous car was a 2005 Infiniti G35 sedan and I miss do miss it from time to time. It is not as powerful as the 550 but i miss going out and drifting. I wish the came with LSD.
but over all the 550 is a much better car more room (for I'm a pretty big guy) more power i love being able to pass with ease, and my BMW service center is wonderfuli only go to fairfax BMW (i went for passport BMW once for service, bad experience)

here's a pic:

I purchased my 2007 550 Sport at BMW of Fairfax (CPO) as well. In addition to the black grills, you can markedly improve (in my opinion) the look of the car with the M side skirts- this is a bit more affordable than doing the front bumper if you go with aftermarket parts. While it is somewhat expensive, I really love the the LCI taillights. These markedly change the look of the car when lit.

I have been looking at getting just side skirts also to add to the look a little with out going over the top. i really like the M front bumper but i just think it's too much unless you have an M or serious mods it's too much.

Congrats on the 550 and to 5series.net.

To me, the single best appearance mod on a pre LCI 550 is the M tech kit. It transforms the appearance of the car. A set of fly 19 or 20 inch wheels is a close second. But both can be pricey.
