I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny. 2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter. Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.

Hello, fellow members:

I just made my move from an E46 to a 2006 525xI with 34K on the clock, premium and cold weather package, black on beige Dakota. I was able to shave off $1,000 from the Service Maintenance agreement and I hope I got a good deal on the car. I am very nervous making the jump from the 3 series, as I have driven an E36 and E46 in the past 11 years.

Please fell free to reply with any advice you feel I may need. I was very impressed with the drive. It had a lot more power than I expected, given the size, and the interior reminded me of a well appointed living room. I will be picking it up on Tuesday, 9/9/08. Wish me luck.

Yours truly, with lots of butterflies in my stomach.

Joe
