Hello Gents - new (to me) 2010 E61
Hello from Ann Arbor, MI. I have spent a little bit of time on Bimmer Forums when I owned a 2010 E60 528 x-drive that I sold when I moved to Chicago (didn't need a car). Fast forward and I know have a family and I always wanted my car back so I recently purchased a 2010 E61 from Tennessee and had it shipped up here (sight unseen - terrible / great idea ) So a bigger car with more problems but much better seats and engine !!
I have had it almost a month and haven't driven it as I nurse it back to health. Oil change and new expansion tank. Then I had the turbos done under the extended warranty, 8 years or 82K. Now my ride is presently at an indy shop getting the valve cover and oil filter housing gaskets done.
Looking forward to getting it home!

Hi Spartan79,
I just joined this site today and after reading your post I needed to respond.
I am in Michigan as well and in April I drove to Tennessee to buy that car from Martin Motors after many conversations with them about how great the car was.
I walked away from that car so fast and am sorry you did not as well. I felt it needed more repairs and money than I was willing to put in to it. It does have a very nice color combination and after you do the repairs I am sure it will be a great wagon for you!
Go Green Go White!!
