HELLO PEOPLE!
After 8 years I've taken the plunge and am going to say a sad farewell (when I sell it - Anyone interested?? ) to my BMW 320ie (UK 1994). After owning it for 11 years, I'm awaing delivery for my 530iSE 2004 with loads of gadgets!
Yes the purchase of a new car was a turbulent one. Many obstacles got in the way..... girlfirend, who became my wife, who wanted a house, who wanted furnishings, who wanted a nice garden, and now wants a baby....
pre-emting the last one I said enuf is enuf.
Drove the 530d... nice engine but still a diesel.... I thought to my self I'm only going to be doing 6000 miles a year.. get a petrol. When I test drove the two it was only 3-5 mpg different. Anyone else feel the same.
potential mods include introducing a AUX port for my MP3 player and somehow changing the Professional Dual Band phone for Bluetooth (anyone done this??)
I'll post some pics soon (when I get the car next weekend).
Peace out!
