Hello everyone!

New guy here, just joined. I found this site while searching the 'net, looking for instructions on how to add a better audio system to my '06 525xi. In the last few hours, I've tapped into the rear speakers for a speaker-level input to a MTX REQ-5 and have located the factory subwoofer amp, and will tie it also into the REQ-5 for a dedicated subwoofer amp. My original plan was just to install my old Rockford 12s in the trunk along with an old Memphis amp that I have, however I may now look to replace the speakers in both the doors and rear deck, as well as the 8" subs under the front seats. Then add a couple of new Alpine PDX amps, one for the mids/highs and a second for the replacement 8" subs. Maybe then I won't need a big box of 12s in the trunk LOL......
Anyway, sorry to ramble on, I guess I just wanted to say Hello Everyone! See you around the forums.
