Hello everyone,
I just currently joined up on this forum because I'm looking at getting into an e60. Right now I currently have a 1994 BMW 740i and a 1984 BMW 733i which are both going up for sale unfortunately.
I do have some question though.
1. I'm looking at both a 530xi and a 545i, but I would rather have the V8... What is the reliability like for both???
2. What is the 545i like in the snow??? Where I live, we get a load of snow and I do a lot of driving. I know from my personal experiences with my 740i, it was horrible in the snow.
3. What common issues should I look for when buying an e60???
4. I also found a 545i with the SMG transmission. What is that like, how reliable is it, does it last (thinking of putting a load a miles on the car, will be a daily driver)???
5. I would also like to purchase the sport model too. What upgraded options do they have???
