For the nav, i was pondering if it was possible to add a hard drive base (clarion?) system?

 

No clue about your nav question but for performance shops, try SonicMS or Sleek Motoring; both located in Mountain View. Darwin's the owner of SonicMS and Sam's the owner of Sleek. They're both awesome guys to work with and their work is top notch. Lots of local members in the Bay Area use them.
