My first BMW was an 1989 M3 so I share your enthusiasm for that car (although mine has been in storage and hasn't seen any race tracks over the years...

Thanks! I know what you mean about not tracking an M3. I have a garage queen '90 w/37K miles which I bought new that's in storage which has never seen track duty. When I decided to do track events, I bought another which had 'been around the block' a time or two that had bodywork etc which became my track car and eventually my first club racer. Fast forward to today, I still have the garage queen but also a Sport EVO clone that I drive daily, a D Mod club racer, and recently picked up a J Stock'er which I plan to endurance race. I got the E60 w/CPO so I won't have to work on it!!! LOL!
