Hello my fellow E60 family members. I bid you a found greeting from Kunsan, Korea as I find this forum alive and well! I'm a former E39 owner who use to frequent Roadfly and I found it to be extremely helpful with issue I experienced with that model. Upon owning my E60 I returned looking for the same usefulness/helpfulness only to find the E60 lounge to be dead. Not such the case here.
Well I own a 2004 545i that was purchased earlier this year, which is currently garaged at my gf's home in Fayetteville, NC. She actually pick-up my baby for me as it was an internet purchase. (I?m not sure if I will ever buy another car before I test drive it first...there are a few issue with it that I'm dealing with BMW USA to help resolve). I had the opportunity to drive it for the first time 2 weeks ago...granted a few issues as I alluded to above, but I can't wait to return to the USA in Aug to put my foot in her again.
Finally, the threads on this board will take a little getting used to for me, but I hope to become more knowledgeable as I stumble my way through. I look forward to the experiences, and the friendships I hope to forge along the way.
P.S. some of you have some sweet asss ridessssssss. I think I will go broke trying to mod my car in the process!

Welcome to the boards. dbae I dont think he's korean. Kunsan = Air Force Base, Fayetville NC = alot of Koreans married to military personel. Just a guess, dont mean to be presumptuous.

No...I'm not Korean, but I enjoy the hell out of this place. I could live here forever becuase the life style is so laid back!
