hello..every one ..

i've been following for a while ..and wanted to introduce my self..and ask some questions ..
i should be getting my 530 tomorrow and im sooo excited ..i feel like im 9 again...oh well..

i wanted to see is there was a way to use the idrive display to watch tv via a reciever or even as an external monitor for an embedded micro-computer for internet access etc...

be nice also if it worked with my heads up display ...

also

how can i clear out the orange on my headlamp ...do i have to buy an entire new housing ?

oohhh and lastly..

i will have premium sound and i was reading the amp for the seat subs are in the trunk....
can i splice into the wires coming into the amp from the head unit and run them to
a new 1000 watt amp and some 12's ?
.... me like to bump bump in the night ..

thanks
sal

Welcome aboard!

Someone on Ebay (oemgermanparts) has the clear headlights for $1049 bucks, and the clear taillights for 399 bucks.

But can we trust'em?

Welcome, there's some posts on the board about the TV, computer and sub-woofer installation.

Try Mr. Search.

:wow: That's about $500.00 a square inch to get rid of the yellow reflectors!

Welcome and an Early Congrats....

This company www.nav-tv.com has the adapter kit you need to make your stock navigation a TV and DVD player. Ive bought a kit for them for my old E46 M3 2 years ago.

Like everyone else said...Bekkers.com for the clear Euro light assembly... There isn't just a clear piece for the turn signals yet.. You will have to swap out the entire headlight assembly.

Check the Aux. Output thread, buried in there is pictures of someone who installed a computer, and was able to have it come up on the Idrive screen.
