WOOHOO!!! Man am I glad to finally be a legitimate member of this board. I have wanted a Bimmer since I was 14, and at age 30 I am now the proud owner of an '05 545i. I take delivery on 2/6/07 and I don't think I'll be able to sleep or focus on work until then. Anybody have any tips on getting your new car out of your head so you can get some work done until it arrives?

Hahaha! For a second there, I was like "Lomag"?
Every vehicle I've owned has been blue, and the color has been incorporated into the car's "name". My first beater was "Old Blue", my 4x4 F-150 was "Big Blue", and my wife and I agree that my new Bimmer shall henceforth be known as "Badass Blue"!
It'll be here at 8am! Man, it feels like Christmas Eve!

It's here and I'm in love! I'm not used to that many ponies under the hood so it's going to take some getting used to before I can ensure a smooth take-off!
My boss, a long-time BMW driver, says I have the "perma-smile" that is typical with new Bimmer ownership. I can't argue with that. Now it's time to scour these boards for V1 hardwire and iPod adapter installation instructions. Weekend projects, woohoo!
