New to the forum, but not new to forums. I've been searching for a couple days trying to figure this out and this is what I've learned. I can get an aux input from dealer for round $75 then install myself, but still have to take car to dealer for them to program Idrive to recognize "AUX". This seems a bit expensive so what I'm looking for is an option where I can un-install the CD changer and plug something into that connector that leads to an aux input. 1st question: Does a part like this exist? 2nd: Would this then eliminate the trip to the dealer for any reprogramming because it already is programmed to recognize the CD changer. 3rd: Would I still be able to use the CD player in the dash?
