Hi and Welcome,
I also am a new BMW owner - my first BMW, took delivery last week of a BMW525d its a 2005 model with beige leather. There are a couple of new additions to 2005 options - like analogue TV option gets you a digital TV as well and a prof Radio also has MP3 decoder, and a couple of other options which you have to pay for - thats according to my dealer. But the standard spec as stayed the same. Too popular at the moment for them (BMW) to give away free options.
See another of my posts - but when you get your car - I would be interested to find out if you have a beige gear gaiter or black.

AFAIK, not much different for MY 2005. Apart from the Sport model

Hi all, thought i'd stick my head above the parapet.
I have to admit to being a bit premature with my username. My Car arrives in five very l..o...n...g weeks: Carbon black, black leather, sat/nav pro, b/tooth, maple wood, hi-fi, folding mirrors, grad w/screen, AUX (thanks to you guys), and needless to say I can't...... At the moment I drive E39 3.0D sport (chipped). It has been a great car and I (fingers crossed) believe the new one should be even better.
I have been studying the forums for the last couple of weeks, and let me say how great it is to find a place where people put all this effort into helping others.
I hope i'll be able to make a few worthwhile contributions from time to time.
