Hi All,

This is my first 'real' BMW and also my first 'grown-up' car.....so far I'm loving it to bits, its a 2003 545i with M-Sport Kit, 19's, Dakota sports, logic7, silver....etc..

Having a little problem with No.8 coil pack (cant get the little b*st@rd out to change it!!!!). I'm sure someone out there can tell me how this is done without recking my new pride and joy??

Should I be changing my spark plugs while i'm at it?.. as i'm sure I wont be going back there again? or will i?

Also my oil level sensor has failed???

Somebody please re-assure me i havent bought a car that spends lots of time off the road due to 'common faults'...


Had great experience with my last 2 cars: 2003 Mini Cooper S and VW Golf GTI 16V Mark2 (2.0 16vAbF), thought it was time top get grown-up car and now i'm worried that I should have aimed my sites at a more sensible engine???

Well i'm not sure what you guys are gonna say but for the one day that the car was working fine, i havent smiled so much...it was ticking ALL the boxes and then some...
