+1 with Pjinca

welcome and enjoy the forums. Here are a few tips to get you started:

1. Air Filter: Do not put a cone type of air filter in your vehicle or the results would be a loss of horse power. there have been countless dynos done and
posted all over this forum. The best performance intake would be to utilize your stock box, BMC drop in filter and RPI scoops. If you do a search for AFE
or Injen you will find the threads regarding power loss. PM Nerweezy for the best pricing, he is a trusted contributing vendor.

2. Exhaust: hands down the best sounding and highest performance is Race Precision. On both my E60's I originally had the Dinan Free flow exhaust and
and ended up with the RPi GT Race Exhausts. Save your money and time, go with RPi. You can youtube RPI 545 exhaust and you will find numerous
clips. You should also youtube RPI M5 Exhaust just for shits and giggles. Again PM Nerweezy for the best pricing

3. Suspension: you can go with a lowering spring but eventually they will wear out your stock shocks. To replace the oem stock plus installation would cost
more than to just purchase KW V2 coil overs. The benefit of having coil overs is that you can adjust you height and have much better performance over
stock suspension. As John aka Pjinca has stated, PM member Macfly for the best pricing.

4. Wheels: Depending on your budget and size of wheels you have many choices. Whatever you decide, be careful if you choose the incorrect tire size your
tires will rub the fenders. I personally would go with 20" iforged or 360 forged wheels. Both are great wheels and a few members here have some used
sets for sale. please click on the links below. My personal favorite wheels are Klassen 10.2s and you can get those from Michale @ Acute perfomance
