Allow myself to introduce... myself? (2008 E61 535xiT 6MT)
Hello everyone! I recently purchased the 2008 535xiT 6MT that Island Road had listed here.
I've owned some BMWs in the past:
1995 E36 M3 (1997, 34k miles - 2010, 191k miles)
2006 E46 M3 (2010, 38k miles - 2011, 43k miles)
2006 E91 325xiT 6MT (2011, 93k miles - 2017, 164k miles)
I had to sell the E46 M3 when I found out that my son was on the way. It was by far the best car I ever owned (silver with red leather!), and I owned it for a frustratingly short amount of time. Yes, the 325xi hauled a car seat around in 4 seasons like a champ, but it was slow as balls.
Now with some years and miles behind me, I find myself wanting more, and an E61 535xiT 6MT was the next logical step. I'm new to these cars, but in browsing this forum, I am impressed at how friendly and helpful you guys are.

Welcome man, sounds like a lovely car you've got there.
I also had an E46 M3 prior to the E60 and they are VERY different! But in a good way
Post some pics of it!
