528 will idle but dies as soon as u give it gas
Hi everyone I am the new boy lol have a issue with my ride it starts right up and idles fine but if I touch the gas pedle it dies rite a way any suggestions it just started all at once

I'm new to this forum & new to the BMW 5 series as an owner, but that fault seems to pop up time and time again from manufacture to manufacture and I would say take the cheapest option 1st.
That would be to check and clean the top dead centre censor which should (stand to be corrected) be at the back of the engine where it meets the gearbox.
In the past two weeks I've had 3 cars in, 1 Citroen, 1 Peugeot, 1 Renault with the same fault and it was the TDC Sensor on all 3. Two needed replacing and one cleaning.
