2004 530i with 90k
Only obstacle would be Alternator & Battery. Other than that suspension pieces are cheap, brakes are cheap, rims, tires, oil, filters even trans flush and pan can be done for pennies on the dollar. As long as fluids are flushed at intervals should be good to go

i bought my 04 530i with 97k and havent had anything major (knock on wood) however I have had my fair share of little things that add up... passenger restrain malfunction, oil leaks, etc.

have several CC. Oil pan gasket 1200$ just as an example, 02 sensor. Lol 200. Yep it's a blast I got just a couple more miles than u at 84k my mechatronic unit went, that sucked, then coolant, then valve cover gasket, 80-100k is where you fix it with the best parts and it will last. Def do tranny.
