You don't need the new shifter for programming the EGS. You only need to add the sports button and then code the EGS with the default settings once you have changed the build code (to add 2TB instead of 205).
This will enable all SAT features except the paddle shifter. Infact, I have not had to code out paddleshifters, even though I dont have paddles. Good Luck
