We're set for the FIZ-Meile, but I need everyone to update the attendance list. The one I posted the other day may NOT be the most up to date so I apologize if you have already provided me with the info. Please do it again- verify the list and tell me the following (unless it's there):
* Are you coming to the FIZ-Meile (more on this later)
* Are you coming to the Munich factory tour
* Are you coming to Garmisch
* Have you provided me with a topic for discussion at Dingolfing - do so if you haven't.
* Have you made your reservations for Landshut (Kaiserhof), and the Forsthaus Oberau hotel
The FIZ-Meile: 25 people ONLY. First to sign, first to go. I have 11 people so far (I think) Everyone needs a passport for the visit, because you will have a look behind the scenes of our Research & Development Center.
The tour will take about 2,5 hours and the topics will be light weight construction, alternative drive concepts, (such as hydrogen cars), acoustics, engines, rapid prototyping (stereo lithography), design and we may also visit 1 or 2 labs, i.e. the light lab and operating strength lab.
For the info I need for the list, please send me a PM with the answers - how many people and which events are you participating in. I think we'll have reserved parking everywhere so I need a car count as well. Just verify what's on the list - or add it if it's not.

Hi there! I'm new to this forum and will soon take delivery of a 540i. I just noticed this thread and am quite interested to attend. I have an office in the UK so flying over from Australia to attend this meet shouldn't be a problem, especially if it means attending several factory tours 
Some questions:
1. Will the tours be conducted in English or German? If it's the latter than I guess there's no point for me to attend. I can only speak two languages, English and Malay.
2. As it is likely I'll be going solo, would any of the attendees be willing to share a rental car?
3. Anyone else from Australia going??

But honestly, it is discouraging how little response I get from the group. I would hope that everyone who signed up has this particular topic selected for automatic notification when someone posts. I have many times asked questions and for 50 some people that have "signed up" for the tour, I get maybe 5 answers. I am still faced with making decisions without any feedback from you guys.
I WILL NOT look like a fool in front of BMW and show up with 5 people at any of the locations. I will cancel the visit first if I don't get the responses I need from the group.
I need 25 people for the FIZ, and 25 or more for either of the other two.
I realize everyone is busy, but I am too, and I'm still doing this so we can all enjoy a great time together. Give me the courtesy of responding when I ask a question.
