TO: Staten Island and Brooklyn Members (and anyone else who wants to caravan to the Palisades Center departing from Staten Island):
Let's organize a caravan up to the NY/NJ/CT TRI-STATE E60.NET SPRING 2009 MEET on Saturday, April 25th.
WHEN: Saturday, April 25th
TIME: Meeting at 7:45 am, Departing for the Palisades Center at 8 am sharp.
WHERE: Staten Island Mall, 2655 Richmond Avenue, Staten Island, NY in front of Macy's Furniture Gallery (a separate stand-alone store in the parking lot). WHAT TO BRING: E-Z Pass (we'll be going up the New Jersey Turnpike and will be taking E-Z Pass)
PLANNED ROUTE OF THE CARAVAN: Local Staten Island streets (Richmond Avenue to the Staten Island Expressway West to the Goethals Bridge) to the New Jersey Turnpike North to the Palisades Parkway North to Exit 9E to the New York State Thruway (87 South/287 East)). Travel on Thruway to Exit 12 (West Nyack-Palisades Center) to Best Buy Parking lot and the meet.

So far, we've got no takers. If no one is interested, I'll probably just drive from Staten Island to the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus and meet up with the NJ contingent which is departing from there.
But if Staten Island, Brooklyn folks are interested in a caravan leaving from Staten Island, we'll leave this open for now. If no interest by Friday, April 24th, I will post that the caravan from SI will not happen.

Scott - I think many of the Brooklyn/Queens guys are going to head to the Cross Island, where the LI caravan will try and connect with them. If we miss them on the Cross Island, we're going to try and catch them on the north side of the Throgs Neck in the Bronx.
