My wife has come to accept that my mental health is directly related to keeping my car clean. I do feel bad though sometimes when I'm on my 3rd coat of Zaino and her car is sitting there with a month's worth of grime on it.......not bad enough to wash it mind you, but bad never the less.

Sunday- forecast is rain...Here we go agan. So, my son slept over my cousins house last night..yada, yada, yada...I have to go pick him up this morning, before heading to the JETS game (which I take my Jeep too always...Well, it hasn't rained for a few hours, cars are soaked outside...roads are almost dry...I keep pondering to myself "Do I take the BMW, which I havent driven in 6 days??? I'm dying to take it out...A nice 40 mile round trip...Need to get kids to Sunday school...So, it looks like its gonna rain...I check hourly forecast on Weather.com...says rain, but I'm dying to drive the 550i...So, I use my senses and take the Minivan...get 3 blocks away and the streets are getting more dry...
I U-Turn immediately, go back. Take the Bad Boy out of the garage and off I go...120mph on LIE East bound racing an Acura TL all blacked out, like me...We're having a good time...I gt off at the Meadowbrook exit and all of a sudden a State Trooper and Undercover blacked out Dodge Charger HWY3 have a slammin' white M6 or 650i with all white rims pulled over in the middle island between Northern State and LIE...Anyone from this board perhaps???
Moral or the story...I didnt get wet...had great time driving...got kids to Sunday school on time...car is clean and in the garage...and now I'm off to watch the JETS lose another game....

woke up this morning drizzle... 
.then it stopped.....drove my car outside and wash it..just managed to do the wheels......then it drizzled again...damm...then stopped....finally I did wash it...blow dry....detail spray and put it back it the garage,,,just as it started to drizzle again...but its all clean and shiny......

Nah, we're all the same. I cuss weather forecasters if they miss as if they've lied just to me. 
The other day was a beautiful sunny day, but just about 5 PM when I was leaving work it started to sprinkle as this one dark cloud rolled in. My car is in a garage at work, so I got out and walked back into the building. One of the ladies who works for me said, "I knew you'd be back." I just logged back on and worked for another 45 minutes or so until it dried up. My colleagues, and my wife and family all think I'm nuts. It's been that way my whole life.

I washed my car in the pouring rain, at 6:30am, yesterday morning. Yeah, I'll admit it. I washed my car in the POURING rain. We were off for a weekend getaway in Northern CT and I had to have my car looking good. Too bad it looked good for about a block. Hahahaha! She was beside herself. She doesn't get it.
Anyway, we are fine. They are crazy. Anyway, here's what my wife thinks when it comes to the car...
1. My wife hates E60.net
2. My wife hates all of you
3. My wife hated the 530xi and now hates the M more
4. My wife thinks we are all gay
5. My wife thought everyone on this board was Asian like me, until she met poleposition and bimmer722. She was shocked. LOL!
6. My wife loves BMW's, will never drive anything else, but gives me no credit for making her a BMW driver for life. I keep telling her it's because of these boards, but she doesn't buy it.
