I didn't put 9/16/06 as a choice b/c Iceman has Iceman jr that weekend. We all want Ice to be there. 
There will be two parts to this Meet. The first part will be the actual Meet and Greet. I'd like for it to be about 1.5 - 2 hours. I thought that at the last Socal Meet we didn't stay around long enough. But then again I was late.
Also, it will give people who were late last time to catch up and join us for the drive later that day.
The second part will be the drive to Julian. I'll get in contact with EBMCS03 and heezy545i b/c they've done the drive before.
So, meet point will be in San Marcos at the Fry's Electronic off the 78. Time is 9:00am.
The drive will happen sometime around 11am. For those that are not interested in the drive they can leave to head back home.
We have two options for lunch, either eat around the Meet point or at a restaurant in Julian. I'm sure everyone will say Julian b/c they want the famous Julian apple pies.

Talking to people and checking out cars is good, but if we leave to late, those roads to julian will be filled with traffic.
It's up to you guys, but I think doing the drive early and first off is best. We can always chat at the stops or before and during lunch.

By your suggestion that would mean we meet at like 7am in San Marcos. Leave the Meet point by 8am to Julian or is that still too late? Or do you mean meet at 6am and start the drive at 7am?

I think leaving the meet point at 7:30 sharp is a good time to shoot for. Yeah, it's a little early, but I'm sure no one enjoyed being stuck in traffic last time around. Starting early is always best in terms of traffic and cops.
