If we all follow the guideline below, it will be safe and fun for everyone.
Just come out and have fun...
Some guidelines:
- Keep a good distance back. Or else you'll get blasted with pebbles. I hear some of you are running track tires 8)
- Keep an eye on the car behind you. If he falls way back, slow down and try to keep him in your sight (in case of mechanical failure, etc). The car in front of you will do the same and eventually will produce a chain reaction up to the leader.
- If the car behind you is faster, signal him to pass at a safe section (i.e., stop sign, long straight)
- We'll wait for everyone to catch up at major intersections

Ooh, sounds fun. Hope I can make it and have enough tire at the time.
Driven all out, a V8 e60 wouldn't be able to keep up with most porsches, but you can only go so fast on public roads which levels things a great deal. I'm not the best driver, but I've been able to keep up with many quick porsches in the canyons while driving a 545i.
