Just spoke to a CHP buddy--he said mods shouldn't be a problem as long as the group as a whole is behaving themselves...they usually don't burden big car-club meets (it's policy NOT too) unless they're being idiots (excessive speed, burnouts, etc.).

He said not to worry about my tint and no front plate.
