So I checked their website and the only group picnic area available for May 9th is Creekside: http://www.gooutsideandplay.org/reservatio....asp?park_id=13

It's the one with the green picture of the picnic table. The other ones are all taken. This site can accommodate up to 100 people but it's about 200 yards from the parking area which can hold 33 cars. Looks like it's next to a volleyball and horseshoe court. The reservation fee is $241. I will call them today to see if alcohol is permitted here.

You pick the Saturday before Mother's day for a meet? Wifes are not into cars. Now, father's day weekend...

A father's day drive would be awesome! I have disappeared for a drive in the past. It would be great to do one with some fellow enthusiasts.

Well Mother's Day is on Sun unless you guys are taking your wives somewhere for the weekend. And I was planning on holding the next Central Cali Meet in June; maybe for Father's Day.

I'm on the last step of the reservation screen for the only site left at this park.......anyone else with comments/opinions?

Alright how about Sat May 23rd? There's a better picnic site available for that day that's also closer to the parking lot and this lot can accommodate up to 50 cars instead of 33 for the one I was going to reserve for May 9th.

I went ahead and moved it to Sat May 23rd and already reserved the picnic area. Here's the new thread: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=74230
