I will wait under the end of Memorial Day weekend but if the final results are the same as they are now, we'll keep the meet on June 6th.
Screw it, dude! I'm ready to go RIGHT NOW!!! can't wait already!

I agree. Just be sure to bring a full tank. This is going to be a really nice, long drive through the Poconos complete with twisties, sweepers, changes in elevation, Pennsylvania small towns, etc.

Like I told you before, I've driven there, so I know... on both, actually - the twisties AND the full tank - there might be places there where its pretty easy to run out of gas!

BTW as far as I can remember, there are no places there where I'd need an EZ Pass. I'm a cheap-ass, so I don't even own one or would you still say that its imperative that I bring one to this meet?

It would be good to have one for the Toll Bridge on I80 that crosses over the Delaware.

I have a few fill up spots along the route so we'll be OK on gas. But it about a 40 mile ride from the Rockaway Townsquare Mall to where we will exit the highway in the Poconos.

For one toll, I think I'll stay on the cheap side LOL

Your call. It could separate you from the group but we'll prob have a brief pit stop once we get off I80 to make sure that everyone is back together in case folks get separated on the 40 mile highway drive from the initial rally point (the Rockaway Townsquare Mall in Rockaway, NJ) to the Poconos.

Given that there was no strong consensus to move the meet's date, we'll keep it as June 6.

I will be starting a new thread with more detailed information (so that it gets in the first post in the thread). I need to finalize arrangements with the restaurant at the end point of the drive.
