5Series.net - Forums - July 11th GW Bridge BBQ MEET

John (member brabusw209amg) and I are co-organizing a BBQ by the George Washington Bridge at the Ross Docks are in Fort Lee, NJ.

A. We will bring meat and sides - enough (likely, more than enough :wink: ) for confirmed participants. Everyone who signed up on the roster will have to confirm their attendance via PM to me and then we'll buy enough for all confirmed. Beverages are your own responsibility! Any specialty items are also your own responsibility. So far on the menu:
-lamb chops (I can get it really inexpensive and good quality meat near where I live :thumbsup:)
-chicken kebobs (also, I get pre-marinated near my house - very inexpensive and super-delicious)
-John will prepare some Asian-style marinated meats (I'm not well-versed in all the secrets of his kitchen just yet, but I'm sure, he'll chime it to clear up any confusion).
-salad, fresh tomatoes and cucmbers, potato salad (add/suggest/vote more sides if you think its necessary)

B. If we happen to get rained out, we are going to Brooklyn's Pizza in Edgewater (or some other restaurant nearby) and just hanging out there. Since we will be buying/marinating the meat the day before the meet, we will go by the forecast in doing so. I.e. if the weather forecast says rain, we're meeting up at the Ross Docks and going to eat somewhere. Maybe a drive later - depends on how you guys feel about driving in the rain - I know I'm ok with my Xi :P

C. Everyone is welcome to join - bring your girlfriends, families, friends - anyone you want.
