dont know how true this is but i heard there is suppose to be a big car meet of all different kinds of cars at jones beach this sunday around 1..maybe someone who may know can chime in.... :

...there is a meet every sunday early am at the former OBI site (Oak Beach Inn) which is now a parking lot/beach look out; its all the way down Ocean Parkway just prior to Captree and Robert Moses pk
as for Jones Beach, no one but me there this week....

lol j/k that sucks well were meeting on the 17th you going? hopefully you'll be in NYC and not out on business right?

Let me clarify for you fellas. During the summer, this meet is EVERY sunday at the OBI parking lot and if you're not there by 8:30 AM sharp, chances are you're not getting in. Thats how packed it gets. In the winter, the meet moves to the Captree parking lot at the end of the ocean pkwy just 1/4 mile from OBI. Thats where it is til they start charging for the lot. Then everyone moves back to OBI. That Sunday meet doesnt get going til 9 or 9:30 in the winters and yes, it is a great turnout even on the coldest of days. I highly recommend you cheking it out at least once in the winter and often in the summer. You just never know what you'll see there. Something different every Sunday. I go often. Its a good time. Exotics to vettes, to mustangs to hot rods to bikes. You name it, you'll see it there.
