Trust me. That's the name, because that's where we all began...... They know who they are (including myself).

Thanks for posting the link to the thread for the 2007 5er "generations" meet that was also in this Ft. Lee location. It was great to see pictures of so many E39s. I still miss my E39 540. What an amazing car that was.

It was an E39 Meet that we crashed. My old car is in those pictures. Those were great days. It all went downhill from there.
We all go downhill as we get older. I look at pictures of myself when I started my career in my mid-20s and I can barely believe it is the same person. But I like to think that my mind is sharper now. Well, er....wishful thinking.

You had a Xi then right? Just a little slower than your M5 perhaps??

My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
Yep. 2007 530xi Sport, loaded to the max. That too, was highly modified as well. People never believed it was an xi, after everything I did to it. Here's a few pictures of the old beauty. I called it the Audi Killer. LOL!

I was shocked at how much faster than my 550i Joe's M5 was when we both pulled away like crazy from a light at the June 14th meet (once we got past the first 100-200 feet within which my ride's torque kept me in the game for a bit). The gulf in speed between a 530Xi and a modded M5 like yours must be a chasm.

That car was a beauty looking at the pix. But I can't imagine the quantum leap in power going from that to a M5.

What are you talking about? Throw in a little sprint booster in the 530 and both cars are comparable.
