Does anyone know a BMW parts or tuning shop in ATX that will sponsor the event? Also, TX T Silver, can you find out some more info on the hill country drive you suggested?

Take front splitters, M-tech fronts and lowered-suspension into consideration

Yes I will look into that Hill County Drive group. I never got to go on one of their drives for various reasons. They sort of closed sessioned them b/c too many people were showing up and some were thinking it was a drive as fast as you can outing. It became an invite only thing.

My contact at BMW Austin knows more. I'll see what he can tell me. He might be able to get a local celeb to come out in his M5 (depends on FB situation)

As far as restaurants, Hula Hut is a good place. Usually crowded depending on time of day. Large groups usually mean long wait. The County Line (BBQ, good) Another place Z Tejas (one on 6th and other in Arboretum), Rudy's (Quick in and out, great BBQ), Chuy's (most everyone knows this place), I'll rack my brain some more.

Any place that would take reservations -- so no waiting?
