Hey guys I was planning on going to HIN this year with my car. I was looking into getting a booth or just getting a few of us together to put our cars in. This is a huge Import car show they have them every year in most major cities. Check out the website http://www.hotimportnights.com/events/event.asp?id=690 let me know what you guys think and if we should get a booth or just roll together. Start a list if your down to go.

I was planning to go and have been looking forward to it for months. But my sister is getting married in August and I have to go and do some crap up in Westchester that Saturday

I would love to go. But I need some wheels first.
I can't roll up to HIN on stockers.

Ant, tell me more. I've always wanted to go to one of these but I just dont think I fit the demographic. I'll probably be very out of place. In addition, if you get a booth, I assume you have to be there way before 4pm and cant get out until after 11pm, correct?

I dunno about the demographic ive never been there myself. I always see pics from the ones in Cali and NY and I see some nice euros. I would assume you would have to leave late if you get a booth but thats only if we get enough people.
I've been there several times. The cars all must be in I believe like 1 or so hours prior to opening and can not leave till all the people leave.

I'd show to walk around and take in the sights but I wouldnt lock myself into a booth or anything of the sort. 2 hours is probably more than enough. Given where it will be held, i can only imagine the element it will attract.

As for demographics...
Its more oriented toward Japanese drift machines....
I went a few times... back in 2000... When I had my ricer... and it was all about Nos, and turbo, and the 1/4 mile.. Now its all about the drift... =)
I could be wrong... Anyone want to prove it?
Oh and there's always import *cough, models cough*....
