O.K. might as well start this to see who may be interested...then we can start planning where and when. My few suggestions are beach (nice backdrop) , mountains (fun drive) , or Oxnard, the Prep Center (maybe do a tour of the facilities?) But I'm open to anything!

A little meet and greet followed by a spirited drive would be great. I went on a 5 series meet recently in Malibu, and the drive was quite entertaining.

Highly recommend it. It is nice to put faces to a name and we had a great time chatting and discussing all sorts of things.

You will not regret it. Just maybe regret not getting some options after you see them in work.

I like the Beach, backdrop idea. I went to Malibu to before, thast is also nice.

Newport or Huntington beach sounds good. Perhaps a drive down PCH, from Long Beach all the way to down to Laguna Beach. We can stop for pics and some lunch. We can do a test drive and see a few places where we can stop for PICS. Im sure around Newport Coast and Fashion Island there are some very nice Back Drops, with big Palm Trees behind us.

Ideas? Ideas? Ideas? Ideas?

I am all for this. I only hope my 545i gets here in time. I am in South Orange County. I would be up for anything.

How about a get together at 7:00 am Sep 12th in OC, Meet up with the LA guys at Lucent Motors at 8:00 and then to Ventura for the German Autofest. My Porsche Club is doing it.....Imagine 3 Dozen 5's and Porsches on the Road together. As all of you know my 5 got tottaled and I am trying to find a new one this week. In anycase I can be in my new five or my boxster.

BTW had a black which got in the accident so am leaning towards a Titanium Silver with Grey Leather with Nav - HUD - Xenons.....any ideas

Sorry, have a wedding to attend on the 12th. Any other weekend would do. I do like do like the idea of meeting up early in the morning. Where is the Octoberfest happening? Is the BMWCCA involved? I didn't hear anything about it!
