I posted something similar before with minimal response.
Id love to have a uk meet for the E60 owners.
Is anyone interested or got ideas where we could do it ?

mixed feelings on this one.
on the one hand it would be fun to "cruise" with other members, on the other it might be a bit embarrising!
most other meets i've seen advertised centre around tracking the car, but the e60 just seems above that sort of thing. Without this context it might prove a little dull.
i do like the idea of a procession of e60 grabbing attention but just not sure that it would work.
maybe it's my english reserve as i see a few other meets being advertised.
don't get me wrong, i'm not being unfriendly - maybe just a liyyle shy!!!

I can tell you it is a lot of fun to meet others and talk about the cars.
Also it's very nice to see the other guys in person.
You will have fun and enjoy it. And even if not... it's another good excuse to take the car and drive a little bit, isn't it?

We had a blast. Only 3 of us drove a little bit together and no one tried to out do the other. Sounds like it would be fun. I think a bit to far for me to drive out. I would love to make it if you didn't mind someone with the steering on a different side. Where would you have the meet?

Well I am based in the Midlands, so keep this tread updated, if anyone fancies meeting up for a cruise, then I will be there... would be great if we got a load of E60s crusing down the M1 at no more than 60mph, would get people talking...

Yeah, why not..
It might be nice to meet up on a nice location with good food. (Cotswolds maybe?).
Would be nice if skidster could make it, so I can tell him in person he needs to lighten up.
