Sorry I haven't been on lately. DSL is messed up right now. I am sharing a connection with a friend.
Anyway, I was looking at setting up a meet here in Germany along the Mosel river. Have a drive between Cochem and Bernkastel. In between there is a village Briedal where we would enjoy a Wine tasting of fabulous German Mosel wines with bread and cheese. The wine taste would also include a tour through the wine fields and a wonderful scene of the Mosel Valley, and a look of how the wine is made. We would also make a stop in a smaller village and enjoy a brief moment of history by a very old Church, or we could have a tour of Cochem castle instead. It would be a great overnighter and arrangements can be made to stay at private houses for less than ?20. That would include a bed and breakfast in the morning. There is also plenty of parking available for us to park together and advertise for BMW again!
If you haven't tried these wines you should. The wines are produced by the people we are visiting and the wines are cheaper through them and taste amazing. I believe the wine tasting wil only cost ?6-10 and you basically drink one bottle of wine and enjoy a nice tour and explanations of wine and how it is produced.
I have been asked to do this by other forum members so I hope to get a lot of people interested in this. Late April is a beautiful time and the leaves are turning green. Please be honost and if you think you will back out (Enfield) than just put maybe.
Please leave comments.

I think we are going to change the dates to help acommodate other people.
Fred, what is a good time for you? I would prefer to make it later becuase to much earlier and we can't really enjoy the vineyards.
Don't worry about being a newbie. Everyone is welcome and treated the same. Though I think Ultra and I are the veterans. Been to every one so far.
Iceman, it sure would be great to see you out there if you can make it.
What about you 530E60NL?
