Hi Guys,
I wanted to see if anyone had some ideas for all the queens people to head to NJ to meet at the palisades.
I was thinking maybe we can meet up where a few of us met by Flushing Meadows park back in November.
We can most likely meet there. Since we are heading to Palisades Mall, and everyone is to be there at 9am. We should meet at 7:45am to 8am By Flushing Meadow park.
Flushing Meeting Point
Palisades Meeting Point at 9 AM.
We would take the the Grand Central Parkway to Triboro to George Washington Bridge. BTW, I hate the Cross Bronx Expressway. It got so much potholes!!
Let me know what you guys think.
I really can't say I know the route and bumps that well.
anyone have any other suggestions for a good meeting point in queens? I'm sure we're all more than welcome. particularly close to the highway so we can all get back on. Maybe we can meet up with the Brooklyn / Staten Island crew. I think the Staten Island crew would probably head to NJ instead of going through Brooklyn and queens.

If you hate the Cross Bronx (and who can blame you for that) and want to avoid to GW Bridge, you could always, from Queens, take the Whitestone Bridge to the Hutchinson River Parkway to the Cross County Parkway to the Thruway (I-87) North over the Tappan Zee to the Palisades Center. Of course, then you'd be missing the drive along the Palisades Interstate Parkway, which is such a nice road.

Fastest way from Staten Island or the southern part of Brooklyn to the Palisades Center is through NJ, which is why I proposed the Staten Island Mall for folks in that neck of the woods. If I don't get any takers, I'll join the NJ Caravan.

Yeah, i'll see what majority says. But i think triboro to GWB is the best bet. Those roads aren't as bad as the Cross Bronx.

The folks in the northern part of Brooklyn should probably go with the Queens caravan as, from the more northern part of Brooklyn, going through SI may be a bit out of the way (going South to then go North).

I dont think the queens people would want to go through Staten Island (pay 9 dollar toll) to go to NJ and then head upstate. I think we're good going to triboro and then Palisades.
Ok. I can probably say for most queens people, we'll be rolling together.

Anyone else in queens want to meet up to go together??
