I just saw this in the latest Bombe flyer. Anyone in the Bay Area thinking of going? I might try to swing it but might be in Denver that weekend.

It says TBD. I've never been but I remember reading that it was at Scott's Seafood in Palo Alto last time.

It's in the Peninsula. That's why it's called a Peninsula Meet & Greet....

Hey ECF,

Looks like I may be free that weekend. I'll pencil it in for now.

Come on Eric. Come up here. Or just have your cousin come out since it's a "SHE".

Anyway, I just got updated info and have pasted it below:

Updated info for the meet and greet on Feb 25th can be read at: http://www.ggcbmwcca.org/index.php?module=...ar&calendar[view]=event&id=207

And what it says is:

Summary
It's the 9HP Pizza Event! Meet all of your Bimmer buddies at Village Host Pizza in Burlingame for pizza and soda. Afterwards, it's off to GoKart Racer where you can get in some fun track time with all of your friends. These are not your average theme park racers.

Details
We will meet at Village Host Pizza for pizza, sodas, and a chance to talk to all of your BMW buddies. Pizza and soda provided by GGC. Afterwards, it's off to GoKart Racer where you can unleash 9HP of fury on your friends. Maintain a good line; there?s no MPower to bail you out here.

RSVP by email or phone no later than February 15 to Peninsula Area Rep Kyle Breton (650.380.7116) with the number of attendees, the type of run session you want (see below), and your phone number. If we have enough people, we will set up a reservation in advance. Otherwise, we will be randomly grouped by the facility.

GoKart Racer run sessions (not paid for by GGC):

Go-Kart Racer License: $7 (Required, includes a head sock)
Practice: $25 (10-minute session)
Race: $45 (5-minute qualifying, 15-minute race)
Grand Prix: $60 (practice, 10-minute break, race)

Non-members are definitely invited to Meet/Greet events. I am supposed to charge $5 per non-member but, assuming I don?t get flooded with non-members, I usually just pick that up, so just give me a count, and what kinds of Go-Kart racer run sessions everyone would like to buy that day (so I have a count to give to GKR), and I look forward to meeting you there!
