So, what's the line up?

1. VT +1 (boss)
2. Mike +1 (new boss)
3. SocalM5Mang +1.5
4. r1racer +1
5. BooB, er Blackonblackonblack +2

Did I miss anyone that is leaving on Friday?

The plan is to get to SB right on time for dinner at 8pm. I suggest we meet somewhere near Sherman Oaks near the 101 and 405 intersection unless someone has a better meet point. We meet at 5:30pm and leave by 6pm. That'll give us two hours cushion so we won't have to drive like speed demons.

I do realize that 6pm is rush hour on a Friday night in LA, but what are the alternatives? I'm open to suggestions. I can also change the time we meet up at the Meet point too. If that's the case, I'll take a half day Friday.

Are you happy now, Grand Poobah of all E60 Meets (ECF)?

Ehh...better late than never I guess.

So is Mike and Kathy driving together? I think you guys should drive separate. It'd be more fun with more cars

Thinking about taking two cars... but I'm leaning towards just taking hers.

I paid $4.15 for gas yesterday! It's probably $4.50 at SB.

Hey Joe!

The wife and I will be leaving early(11AMish--taking the day off)and hitting the Outlet Mall in Oxnard.

5:30PM in Sherman Oaks on the 101 will be a gridlocked parking lot. The entire ride to Santa Barbara will be stop and go. You'll need to leave yourself a 3 hour window. I'm certain of this.

Tony--I will just check into the Hotel when we get there and contact you upon check in. Please email me your cell phone number.

Good call with stopping by the outlet mall...be sure to stop by the sony outlet...

101 N is definitely going to be no bueno at that time. I would suggest riding up early...if you're not going to stop in oxnard at the mall...just hit up SB early and state street..a lot of bars, restaurants, and shops to keep you busy...

All right enough people have convinced me that I'm taking a half day on Friday to drive to SB. Now, I gotta get the boss to leave work early too. If she can't then I'm stuck driving in rush hour.

lol..was really that hard to push you into trying to get a 1/2 day . Just tempt the boss with a nice meal or some shopping..usually works.. .

Well, it looks like I'm leaving Marina Del Rey at 5pm Friday evening. It's going to be a long SLOW BUMPER-TO-BUMPER trip to SB.

From talking to you guys individually, I think Mike, Kathy, Joe and Jay can probably caravan in the afternoon and Joe (VT) and Wendell can try to meet up for the evening trek.
