Yes, if we do the official dinner, we'll need to register and also prepay for the dinner the same time. It's $30 a person.

I haven't done it either. I was holding off to see what you guys want to do so if we do the official dinner, I can do everyting online at once. Seems like we're leaning this way but let me check with the others on that list by tomorrow.

 

Welcome to Santa Barbara. I will be a rookie at Bimmerfest, having bought my first BMW in January, and am very much looking forward to the meet. Santa Barbara is my home and, for those of you who haven't been here, there are plenty of restaurants and clubs for you. Actually, I was going to walk. I live very near. Yes, I do have a e60, but its pretty stock with a minor exception or two so I wasn't planning on bringing it to the show. And, as you have noted, it gets pretty crowded there. I would like to meet you all though. I saw where people were being told to take the Hope Street exit and that is very sound advise. Las Positas gets extremely tied up for a big event at the show grounds. Up Hope Street is a mall with a rather large parking lot if you are looking for a place for everyone to meet. I just PM'd you about the restaurants. Let me know if that list is good enough. If there is anything anybody needs help with, just let me know.
