Hopefully the Bay Area's guys are more understanding to newbie like myself, because I'll probably get flame for as this question in the main forum. Is it possible to replace the front turn signal lenses to white for a pre-LCI? I notice in some photos, the turn signal lenses were white. Makes the front end looks much more smoother IMO. I just do not know how to access it due to the headlight cover. Did try the search function but nothing comes up.

Here's a quick answer since I'm about to head out the door:

1) It's extremely tough to open up these headlights to remove the yellow reflectors and the only way is to literally cut apart the housing and gluing them back. Some have done it but it's not an easy task.
2) Cheapest alternative is to buy the euro stickers from member AKAlius (Phi) which are applied on the outside of the headlights over the amber section and mimick the European headlights which don't have the amber turn signals.
3) Next alternative is to buy eurospec headlights which should be plug n play if you get the right one for the model year of your car. Used sets sell upwards of $700 though and they're hard to come by.
4) Most expensive way is to do full LCI conversion.

Thanks Euro, I'll go with the sticker option for now since it's the most cost effective method but will definitely try to open the headlights up so I can apply the sticker on the inside.

BTW, I sincerely appreciate all your replies. This forum and the other one, Bimmerfest, have been very educational for newbie such as myself when it comes to mods and the proper way of maintaining our E60.
