One of my friends is trying to put together a meet and drive on Sunday March 1, pending the weather. All types of cars are invited. We are thinking about meeting up in San Jose somewhere and just crusing around where ever the road takes us. Exact route has not been decided. Confirmed so far are a few AMG CLS's, a SL55, SLK55, CLK Black series, couple of E46 M3's ........ and anyone else who wants to come.

So, if the weather is clear, whos down?

Here is everyone I know confirmed so far. Add your name if you want to come, and I will PM you with the details.

1 - sam@sleekmotoring - CLS55
2 - khuongdesign - CLS63
3 - CLS:030 - CLS63
4 - LDFamz - E92 3 Series - pending completion of car
5 - Timmy - CLK Black series or CLS55
6 - KTDragon- E46 M3
7 - iDunnohisname- E46 M3
8.- iDunnohisname - SL55
9. - IDunnohername - SLK55

I might be interested. Hopefully I won't have any family plans that could potentially come up by then.

Are you guys thinking of a highway type cruise or a mountain road spirited drive? If it's the latter, I recommend taking Bear Creek Mountain Road off Hwy 17 and then connecting to Hwy 9 and either end in Saratoga or continue on Hwy 9 to Skyline.

I really dont know what type of driving he has in mind. This is something he just thought about doing to get everyone together and relax. The main thing right now is the weather. If its clear, were going, if not, we have to delay it for a little bit. If your free, would you be interested in leading during the drive?

Guess that also depends where we're driving but sure. Maybe I'll have whoever's driving behind me or mid-pack mount my Motorsports Hero camera to film the drive.

The guy who planned is actually at my shop right now. He is pretty much down for what ever. He was talking about HWY9 and skyline, but I dont know if he is serious.

That's what we did on the last meet where you met up with us at the end at Stanford Shopping Center. It's a fun drive. There are some straight aways on Skyline where you can hit triple digit speeds.

The only thing is that they want the start/meet spot to be in San Jose. Once we meet them, we can kidnap them to follow un anywhere.

Then you'll lead this time around.

How about meeting at Santana Row?
