I met up with a bunch of bimmers (I was the only e6x in attendance) in Yalaha (at the bakery), central Florida (Holly in the Hills close by I think). Was really cool. Those guys knew the area so we had some fun driving. About 16 in all, mostly e28s, some e24s, and an M3 (e46). Come on we can do the same thing. I am in the midst of planning a 6er meet in Asheville, NC for Sept/Oct. We are going to do the Tail of the Dragon and more. Any one wants to join up let me know

I'd be happy if someone had the time to plan something here in Central FL. My schedule is tapped out but if it were just deciding on a place, date and time maybe I could help. It'd be really cool to see a bunch of E60s parked somewhere around here. What about July for a simple get together?

Any of you Orlando folks familiar at all with the back roads north and west of you? Seems like some nice country roads with a few hills (well for Florida they're hills ) and curves. I could drop a question on the e24 board and see if any of those guys have a route or two. The Yalaha Bakery was a nice place to gather ( a bit far for me, but I would do it - 80+ miles).

Or if no real nice drive possible seems like we ought to be able at least meet for a latte somewhere.

Hey guys I'm going 640+ miles to a meet in Asheville, NC and that has only three 6ers so far. You'all are welcomed too - we had established 28 Sept - 1 Oct, but that might get pushed out a week or so. What I'm saying is we ought to be able to put something together that is far closer.

One other consideration, although not for this time of the year (too hot and humid). I have a Gtech Pro Gmeter. We could meet over near me at the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge to do some straight line testing of your 0-60 speeds and 1/4 mile times. Plenty of road with little to no traffic when it is cooler and the snow birds have not come yet. Anyway, something to keep in mind.

I live in Palm Coast. It would always be fun to see some other BMW fans. Orlando would be convenient.

I've been thinking that we should have a meet somewhere in the Jacksonville area. That way we could grab up the Georgia, Carolina, and Alabama guys, along with the floridians, and not too far for anyone. Maybe in the fall? We could meet for a meal, and maybe a drive and another meal on the next day. Or perhaps we could piggy back it with another group and show up "en masse". Just a thought....

Where do you hail from as it is not in your location?
