'kay....made a reservation at Duke's at 12:00 noon for 20 people. I will revise as required a week before the meet. They could not take us any later. I've also requested to have parking spaces reserved at the end of the parking lot. If we have more...I may have to reserve a banquet room.

I have something scheduled that morning so I may miss the actual canyon drive. Would it be acceptable if I just came out to meet & greet at Dukes?

O.K...did a solo run again today! Great way to start out Father's Day! Drove a version of JetBlack5OC's route. We'll have lot's of options. Found a great place to do a photo shoot just after the tunnel on Kanan Rd. Depending on time, we can turn back, turn rt. and do Latigo Canyon to PCH or go back to Mullholland go left on Mullholland to PCH. I guess it will depend on how long we hang at the photo stop. We can't be late to Duke's to keep our 12noon reservation. The only bad thing about Latigo is there's a section that goes down to ONE lane...we'd have to wait for everyone to make it through before continuing down the road. Oh, the other bad thing...I wore down my rear tires! I'm gonna have to buy new rear tires before the meet! (Take note, my fronts are definitely too big...a few dips on Latigo made them rub!) Ended the day taking my girls, (3 and 6), to the Pasadena Police auto show...some nice classics. Wifey wasn't crazy about the tatoos the girls had on their legs when we got home! Good times! Happy Father's Day to everyone!

Be careful on Kanan, if there are cops, they are usually right around the tunnels.

Also, I think Latigo is a more enjoyable when driven uphill. If you start this road from PCH, the first part is a bit rough, but the end has rather smooth roads. There are one-lane sections with a stop sign, but since you're in a group, if the first car goes, then the cars behind him don't really need to stop.
