Here we go again guys!
Another opportunity for NorCal, CenCal and SoCal members to unite in beautiful San Luis Obispo. Those members that have gone in the past know that this is more than a typical meet & greet as we have a full day and night's worth of activities and lots of folks stay overnight. This gives everyone a better opportunity to get to know each other and develop lifelong friendships. Okay, enough with the Dr. Phil dribble....
As with previous SLO meets, NorCal, CenCal and SoCal caravans will leave Sat morning and meet up in SLO; participate in the afternoon, evening and late night activities and stay overnight to drive back Sun. Or leave as you please if you need to get back home sooner.
The agenda this time around:
1) Caravans leave for SLO around 8-8:30AM
2) Caravans meet at French Park by 12 noon(1040 Fuller St, San Luis Obispo, http://www.ci.san-luis-obispo.ca.us/...frenchpark.asp). I've reserved the BBQ area for us through the city of SLO.
3) Potluck BBQ. Everyone signs up to bring food/drinks items. I'll also secure an alcohol permit.
4) BBQ will probably end around 3-4PM and we will move on to the Courtyard Hotel (1605 Calle Joaquin Rd, San Luis Obispo, http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...n-luis-obispo/). I've secured group rates for us for $145 a night which will include two breakfast vouchers. Please call the hotel directly at 805-786-4200 and reference group code E60.net to reserve your room. DEADLINE TO BOOK IS FRI, FEB 26TH! AFTER THAT DATE, PLEASE PM ME DIRECTLY AND I'll SEE IF THE HOTEL CAN ADD MORE ROOMS. I CURRENTLY ONLY HAVE A BLOCK OF 15 ROOMS SET ASIDE.
5) Rest up, chill at the hotel pool, or play some poker in the hotel lobby.
6) Dinner around 8PM. Restaurant TBD.
7) After dinner, I think we'll hit up Native Lounge again and possibly secure a VIP section like we did last July (http://www.nativelounge.com/).
