You should go especially if your nearby. Even though there might not be many e60s, there are some nice fivers in norcal. I don't know them, but they seem like good people.

I think this is the same meet http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=203282

There are usually meets around my area every now and then, but they are usually dominated by M3s. Since this is a five series only meet, it is a bit rare.

Here's a pic from the last fiver meet. Don't want to scare anyone off, but as long as people don't try to race, it should be safe fun

Well, it's up to you if you race or not, but I wouldn't race anybody on such a meeting!

It wasn't racing... I was there on that last drive. That guy was an idiot. He was doing all kind of "idiot" manuvers from the time he arrived at the In-n-ouy buger parking lot. My guess is that he forgot that he turned-off the DSC and he took a tight twisty turn at a VERY high speed and w/out any driving skills. And thus toasted a practically brand new 540i w/ M5 wannabe package.

I have been to many of these BMW meets, and from time to time, you will always see someone acting below there age. People tend to forget that at meeting as such, everyone else has the same car as yours. And thus there is nothing you can do that can please the crowd, other than looking like an a$$

I will try to show up and say hey...

cheers,

beewang
