Where are you guys thinking about BBQing?
If you guys don't BBQ and want to switch from the regular Newcombs stop, you guys can try a restaurant around La Crescenta or old town pasadena. La Crescenta is at the base of Angeles Crest with a few decent restaurants and old town is a short drive away.
