Hi fellows!

Took my camera and my gf along today while visiting my sister.
So we (me + gf) did a short walk in my childhood's neighbourhood with my sister's dog Zero.

Nice day, had fun. I know you (at least the ones who don't have it) love the snow, so I decided to share some with you...

And to justify this thread :

Nice pictures. Is the snow as deep as it looks in the last pic or is that just piled that high from plowing?

Snow is never as pretty when you have to drive every day in it or shovel it, like I used to when living in Ohio.
Since we don't get much in the southern U.S, I now have to travel to see it such as visting my sister and family in West Virginia.
I also enjoyed the Canadian Rockies in October. The mountains looked beautiful but the roads where mostly clear.

Thanks.
It's piled from plowing. We have 60-70cm (2-2,3 feet) now, and most of it will come in 1-2 months. We probably will have it about 3-4 feet before the spring.

Beautiful pics all, but the close-up of the towering trees is awe-inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks buds.

I'm excited about my new camera, Sony DSLR A300! That's my first SLR.
I know some people here are anxious about 2000-3000$ cameras, and I appreciate that, but I'm happy with my budget class tool!

I love him too. My sister is a real dogperson, and she has trained him well.
Actually I work very close to german shepherds, they're just adorable!
