Ok, let me note I would never condone ANY of these actions...........but WTF?!?!?!
Michael Vick gets 20 months for running a dog fighting ring, and PETA is going nuts that he's coming back
Plaxico Burress is looking at 2 years minimum for shooting HIMSELF in the leg
Dante Stallworth get 30 FRIGGIN DAYS?!?!!? FOR KILLING A MAN?!?!?!? WTF?!?!?!?
Let me get this straight, if I am drunk and pick up a gun and shoot someone I get charged with murder, likewise if I stab someone, but if I run them down it's okay?!?! C'mon, is there any real justice left in America?
And it's not about celebrity because the first 2 cases also involved high profile athletes and yet they are somehow MORE of a threat to society? How is that?

I agree about Dante Stallworth but in Florida, law provides for fault on the part of a victim to be taken into account in determining the ultimate guilt of the party charged with this particular crime. The man that was struck was jay walking across an intersection.

Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Vick and Burress got at least what they deserved. Vick's cruelty to those defenseless dogs is unimaginable. I love my dogs, and if anyone lays a finger on them, they'd better be ready for the consequences. Burress may have shot himself, but that was just luck. It just have easily could have been an innocent bystander. It's illegal to carry a concealed weapon in NYC and he knew it. What does a star athlete with bodyguards need with a cocked and loaded Glock in his waistband? He deserves extra time just for being an idiot.

I agree the others got what they deserved, no problem. However, whether the guy was jay walking or not Stallworth probably wouldn't have hit him sober. Which goes again to prove drunk driving is (for some reason) looked at as a "silly" crime. I mean, you can get more than 30 days for an ounce of weed - ad I hate drugs!!!
