Maybe the 3 series had a blown-up engine and this guy was a small-block Chevy specialist? Maybe he appreciated the superb handling characteristics of a BMW and the intense straight line power of American muscle? Obviously the weight distirbution will be way off, but who knows what his intent was. Granted, it's weird though. I would like to see what it could do in the 1/4 mile.
